JUST MARRIED: Paige Johnson, The Daughter Of BET Founders Bob And Sheila Johnson, WEDS Dudley Payne III Posted: 07 May 2013 08:01 AM PDT Paige Johnson, the daughter of Bob & Shelia Johnson, the founders of BET, wed Dudley Payne III in a sunset ceremony in the Bahamas.  Find out more about the wedding inside... Over the weekend, champion equestrian Paige Johnson, wed insurance broker Dudley Payne III at the Ocean Club in the Bahamas. The wedding took place on Saturday as part of a four-day celebration that began with a rehearsal dinner Thursday. On Friday, the couple had a beach party, and on Saturday, over 200 guests attended their lavish ceremony and reception. R&B star Ne-Yo sang Elton John’s “Your Song” for the couple’s first dance and guests danced to songs spun by DJ Cassidy at the reception.  And on Sunday, the newlyweds hosted a farewell brunch. Father-of-the-Bride, Bob Johnson (shown above), the co-founder of BET, spoke highly of his son-in-law, telling the Washington Post, “This guy is the perfect guy for Paige. He’s a true gentleman.” He added, “They’re both intensively competitive in their chosen fields.” Paige, who walked the aisle in a Monique Lhullier gown, has been a competitive equestrian rider since age 5 and was included in a 2012 Town & Country cover story on heiresses of the horse world. Congrats to the couple.

After years of being snubbed, Kim Kardashian proudly walked the red carpet at the 2013 Met Ball last night with Kanye West, who also served as the evening's entertainment.  Once Kanye hit the stage, he treated the audience to a preview of the work he's been creating in Paris, including a new song called "I Am A God."  And doing one touching moment of the performance, he paid homage to Kim K. singing , "Let nobody bring you down, you’re so awesome.” Later on, Kim returned the sentiment, posting on Instagram, "Baby you're AWESOME". MUSIC FAB: Tamar Braxton's "The One" (SINGLE) Posted: 07 May 2013 06:19 AM PDT Tamar Braxton has released her next single, "The One". Listen to the summer jam inside....   Tamar Braxton pays homage to the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy" with her latest single, "The One".  Using Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit” as a sample, Tamar described the song (produced by Yung Berg and LaShawn Daniels) as, "a summertime anthem record”.  She told Rap-Up TV, “It kinda gives you that feeling when you was in high school and you was with your boyfriend or your girlfriend and you go to the park and you hang out and you get all cutie, and it’s just funners.” Tamar, who had a baby shower in LA last weekend, recently shot a video for the single on the Santa Monica pier with director Gil Green.  Her upcoming debut album for Streamline/Epic Records, which will be released this fall. FULL DOCUMENTARY: Rihanna's TAKES Fans On a Trip With "Rihanna 777", POSTS New BACKSTAGE Flicks Posted: 07 May 2013 04:26 AM PDT For fans who didn't have the opportunity to see the "Rihanna 777" tour live, we have the documentary about the tour inside.  Watch what just aired on Fox and see some of Rihanna's lastest backstage flicks inside.... Last night, Rihanna brought her "Diamonds" World Tour to Barclays Center in NY, in celebration of her chart-topping seventh album Unapologetic. Famed-designer Stella McCartney was among the A-listers who stopped backstage to pose with RiRi.   Designer Jeremy Scott also stopped backstage and posed with the superstar. And during the concert, Jeremy, whose designs have been worn by Nicki Minaj and Karrueche Tran, sang "S&M" with the star.    And in case you missed it.....   Monday night, FOX aired "Rihanna 777" which followed the singer for seven days through seven countries. But don't expect to get much from RiRi as far an interviews go. Though the Boeing 777 was packed with journalists saying 'Just one quote!,' and 'I need a headline!', she told the press that due to her hectic schedule, she was on vocal rest and couldn't talk to them! As a result, one of the journalists ran down the aisle naked to keep his sanity! Enjoy.....

YBF Celebs Take Over The 2013 MET Ball: Beyonce, Alicia, Solange, Nicki Minaj, Kerry, Tiger & More! Posted: 06 May 2013 08:00 PM PDT Another year, another Met Ball.  The biggest fashion red carpet & event of the year is currently underway at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, and we've got the YBF celebs who took over the extremely fashionable red carpet.  Check out the risk takers who pulled off their looks fabulously, and those who tried.... Once again, for the second year in a row, Beyonce Knowles took over VOGUE's 2013 "PUNK: Chaos To Couture" themed Met Ball tonight rocking an eye catching and sexy look from Givenchy Haute Couture.  After last year's shutdown in the purple & black feather & sheer number, Bey, who is serving as this year's honorary co-chair, switched it up with a strapless leather bodice and a printed gold and black skirt with a high slit that exposed matching boots, and came with matching gloves.  Gotta love it. And she's not the only risk taker who won.   We're absolutely loving Alicia Keys', LaLa's, and Kerry Washington's looks for the night.  Alicia kept her sexy edge in a leather cutout Jason Wu halter dress with a burgundy sequin bottom half and the perfect touch of punk with Robert Lee Morris jewels, a Tonya Hawkes clutch and a streak of red hair.   "Scandal" star Kerry Washington has been on a whirlwind NYC promo tour today hitting up several back to back to back talk shows.  And she pulled it together once again tonight in a gorgeous Vera Wang creation.  Vera stepped outside the box of her usual simple colors and flowy looks and opted for a structured multimedia dress with a bold metallic print.  And it worked perfectly for Kerry.   Kerry and Vera even posed it up with Andre Leon Talley inside looking like a page snatched straight from VOGUE magazine.  Serve. LaLa Anthony looked amazing as she flew solo in this red satin Zac Posen sexy creation. She showed off her new slim & toned bod in a dress that would show every flaw.  But in this look, she's got none of those.  Perfectly straightened & cut blonde hair as well. La had some fun with her girl Chanel Iman who rocked a striped J.Mendel frock. And let's discuss Nicole Richie's surprising silver foxy look shall we?  We must say, it works for her.  It's a costume gala after all, and she gave just enough "costume" drama.  Chick could play Storm in X-Men.  The fashion diva rocked Dana Rebecca Designs and a Maria Francesca Pepe ring.    Oh Nicki.  Our darling Nicki.  Not sure if it's the 80's hair (yeah, we know the theme is Punk but still) or the dark lipstick with it, but this is doing a bit much.  The dress isn't doing it for us either.  Maybe it's because it's by Tommy Hilfiger and he doesn't strike us as a red carpet formal gown type of designer.  But, it's not horrible. By the way, Tommy gifted her with a Rolex a few hours ago as well that she happily put on Twitter.  Nice!   Fashion diva Solange Knowles never gets it wrong.  And tonight is no different.  The "Losing You" singer stepped outside the box and rocked a printed blue Kenzo dress for, as she called it, an "Afro Punk" look.  And we're loving every bit of it.  The hair, that slit, and those gorgeous earrings.  Loves it!   Rocking a white Thakoon look with an exposed midriff slit and a high split in the skirt, Rita Ora got it all the way right with the hair and makeup as well.  Loving this look for her.she paired her look with Nicholas Kirkwood heels and Tasaki for Thakoon necklace, earrings and bracelet. She topped it all off with Cartier rings.   And the athletes also made their way to the huge fashion event: NY Giants star Victor Cruz kept it dapper in a teal Lanvin dinner jacket with his tux.  And his fiancee Elaina Watley looked great in this very detailed bodice on a dress that was completed with a full black skirt.    NY Knicks star Amar'e Soudemire, who plans to come back from injury in Game 3 later this week, attended in a dapper Calvin Kelin suit with a burgundy jacket full of sheen.  Loves it.  And his wife Alexis makes pregnancy look ridiculously fabulous as she rocks a frock full of feathers by Giambattista Valli.  Gorgeous.   The twosome took pics with Taylor Swift and teammate Tyson Chandler's wife, Kimberly.   And rounding out the athletes, Tiger Woods and his new chick, pro ski racer Lindsay Vonn, made their red carpet debut tonight.  No risks taken here, but the white gown is pretty.   Jennifer Lopez got catty in this stunningly glam Michael Kors gown.  Very unexpected look by the all American designer, but the risk paid off because Jenny looks amazing.  As usual, the cheetah style nude and black print dress looks painted on.  And she's freaking flawless. Kanye's looking pretty good at the Met Ball.  All that away-time in Paris is paying off.  And he posed it up with his baby moms-to-be Kim Kardashian, who rocked a much talked about (and not in a good way) Ricardo Tisci floral dress with matching gloves and matching shoes. And if you ask whose grandmother's plastic couch cover got removed in order to use the couch fabric underneath for this dress.....you aint right.   Oh hey ALT!  Get it with those pink socks!   Miguel made his way to his first MET Ball Monday night. Model Tyson Beckford loves himself some bright colors and a bold print.  His pink camo Alexander Nash dinner jacket works for him though. And Eve made her way into the high brow event looking absolutely stunning in leather and lace.  Nice to see hip hop getting some love from the fashion crowd. MET BALL MESS UP: Kanye & Kim K. Facing Crazy Criticsm Over Kim's Last Minute Givenchy Alterations...And That Dress Posted: 06 May 2013 06:34 PM PDT   This may be Kim's first...and last visit to the Met Ball.  Anna Wintour shunned her for years, and finally after gaining admission with boyfriend Kanye West who's performing, fashion critics are going in on her Givenchy alterations and the entire look.  But is it that much of a disaster?   Check out Kim's floral frock that has everyone praying the fashion gods will come and lay blessings on her inside.... You luck up on an invite to the 2013 Met Ball and you tap Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy to custom design your gown.  And this is what you and up with. The all over floral print floor length gown complete with a train, a turtle neck and long sleeves is enough to make your eyes squint for relief, but it's the fashion critics who are going in extra hard on social media about Kim K.'s look tonight. While this is officially called the Costume Institute Gala and risque looks are more than welcomed, Kim's look at The Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight may have just set some people off. Life & Style reports that the dress has gone through 5 alteration overhauls due to Kim's growing body.  And since she's pregnant, this is to be expected.  But reportedly, according to the tabloid, Kanye is pissed that Kim's new stylist allegedly demanded...very last minute...to add sleeves to the dress because the stylist didn't want Kim's arms exposed. "She had the Givenchy severely altered at the last minute on orders of her new stylist," a fashion insider tells Life & Style. "She's gained a lot of weight in her arms and her stylist has told her she should not show them off," the insider says. "So her dress now has sleeves when it was sleeveless before." Continues the source, "Kanye is annoyed, as the dress is by his best friend Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, and he feels embarrassed that Kim is messing with a beautiful piece of art." A pregnant woman's body is always beautiful.  But should Kim have chosen a different dress to flatter her new bod?  You decide....

UNCLE SAM SHOCKER! Lauryn Hill SENTENCED To THREE Months For Federal TAX Evasion Posted: 06 May 2013 03:48 PM PDT Despite paying off her tax debt (at the last minute) Lauryn Hill was sentened to three months in federal prison for tax evasion! Find out the specifics of the judge's ruling inside and see what Kelis named her new album... Although Lauryn Hill's   lawyer told the media that she'd paid off nearly $970,000 in state and federal tax liabilities, a Newark, NJ judge sentenced her to three months in a federal prison today.  During the hearing, Lauryn defended her mounting tax debt, explaining that she dropped out of the music business but had always intended to fix her situation. "I was put into a system I didn't know the nature of. ... I'm a child of former slaves. I got into an economic paradigm and had that imposed on me."  She added, "I sold 50 million units ... now I'm up here paying a tax debt. If that's not likened to slavery, I don't know what is." Despite her plea, the judge in the case was unmoved by the statement and sentenced Lauryn to 3 months behind bars, 3 months of house arrest AND 9 months of supervised release! If Ms. Hill felt imprisoned by the system before.....what's a real conviction going to do to her psyche? By the way, the judge ordered Lauryn to report to prison by July 8. We wonder if she will go all "Tupac" in the studio and bang out as many tracks as she can BEFORE she goes on lockdown?     And in other music news.... IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Mariah Carey's "Beautiful" Ft. Miguel + Mariah Is OVER "American Idol" Cattiness? Posted: 06 May 2013 02:36 PM PDT In case you missed it, Mariah Carey revealed "#Beautiful" featuring Miguel, the first single off her upcoming album, earlier today.  Listen to the song inside, plus all the drama going down at "Idol" with Mariah allegedly wanting to LEAVE....   Earlier today, Mariah Carey released "#Beautiful", her collaboration with Miguel, which kicks off her next studio album (expected Summer 2013).  Written and produced by Miguel and Mariah, a video for the song was shot and directed by Joseph Kahn and set to premiere Wednesday on “American Idol.” Following the visual, Mariah is set to perform the song for the kickoff off the “Good Morning America” Concert Series on May 24 in Central Park. Earlier today, Mariah called into Ryan Seacrest's radio show to explain why she chose Miguel for the song. "I'm a huge fan of his music and as I think everybody's just so blown away by him right now. We got together. He had started writing this song with just the guitar riff. He's the truth."   Listen to "#Beautiful":   Unfortunately, everything isn't beautiful over on the "American Idol" set.  The cattiness between Nicki Minaj and Mariah has reached a fever pitch, and reportedly, MiMi doesn't need it and is OVER IT! Why is MiMi ready to twirl into her rainbows and leave Nicki right where she's at?  “Mariah doesn’t want to come back, Nicki is really disrespecting her and she’s tired of trying to bite her tongue all the time,” an insider told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column. “One night Nicki tried to be kind of nice, but Mariah didn’t bite, so I guess she figured screw that.” Interestingly enough, we believe this one.  Even after watching the show for 1 minute, the eye rolling, the passive aggressive ignoring and the shade throwing happens from start to finish.  And it's quite uncomfortable to watch.  Nicki believes Mariah is insecure and comes and simply doesn't like her.  To us, it seems Mariah is just being the diva that she is and not going out her way to kiss anybody's ass.  Or really pay that much attention to foolishness. And Nicki isn't taking to kindly to that. And Mariah's hubby Nick Cannon is also defending his woman saying that FOX and others feed into the cattiness and perpetuate it, and Mariah isn't about that life.. Deadline.com reports: She didn’t sign up for that,” the America’s Got Talent host told LA’s KTLA-TV morning show. On air, Cannon accused “someone behind the scenes perpetuating” the conflict. Once the camera was off, Cannon blamed Fox Alternative Entertainment chief Mike Darnell for bringing Minaj onto the show, I have learned. “No one thought it was a good idea then and no one thinks it is a good idea now,” I’m told Cannon said. On air, he also said Carey predicted problems between her and Minaj before the two were brought on board, along with Keith Urban, as new Idol judges this season. “My wife [has] foreseen all this. She tried to tell the network, ‘I don’t think this is going to work, I’m afraid,’ ‘ Cannon said. He added that Carey thought any attempt to set things up between her and Minaj was the wrong direction for Idol. “This is going to turn into one of those reality shows,” Cannon said Carey, an Idol fan, told him. Gorgeous Hollywood couple DeVon Franklin and his actress wife Meagan Good were spotted walking though West Hollywood, CA on Sunday afternoon.  The fab duo grabbed lunch earlier in the day and spent a few hours at a relaxing day spa.  The Produced By Faith author and his busy wife were taking a break from their numerous projects over massages.  Though chances of Meagan's NBC series "Deception" getting renewed seem slim to none, she's currently filming Anchorman: The Legend Continues, and has the flick Doctor Me in the can. Wait for it......         Wait for it........       If you guessed that it's Kerry Washington grew up to become the woman who could squash a "Scandal"....you're right! The glamorous actress, shown above before appearances on "Live With Kelly & Michael" (left) and "Good Morning America (right) this AM, is in New York City to promote the release of her latest big screen film The Peeples (May 10th) starring Craig Robinson, David Alan Grier and S. Epatha Merkerson.  Kerry also did double duty in the promotions department as she also discussed the upcoming season finale of "Scandal" that has viewers  everywhere downing bottles of wine and on the edge of their couches trying to figure out who "the mole" might be.  And one interesting tidbit for Kerry fans....while on "Live With Kelly & Michael", she revealed that she and Jennifer Lopez were a part of the same Boys & Girls Club in the Bronx!   BONUS:   Kerry chatted it up with Robin Roberts on "GMA" this morning where she promoted The Peeples and promised to bring all the Gladiators from "Scandal" back to "GMA" next week!
